And In Re : Raju Laskar ... Petitioner. Mr. Angshuman Chakraborty, Mr. S. S. Saha ... For the Petitioner. Mr. Indradip Das, Mr. Narayan Debnath ... For the State. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in connection with the instant case and he was employed at Tamil Nadu. The house was rented to different persons and the house belonged to mother of the present petitioner. It has been submitted that tenant has been granted anticipatory bail. Petitioner prays for bail on any condition. Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and submits that there has been alleged recovery of 396.6 kgs. of Ganja. I have taken into account the materials appearing in the case diary and petitioner being in custody since 05.09.2025. there is a specific charge so far as the present petitioner is concerned. The prosecution has a specific case. 2 Having regard to the recovery of huge quantity of seizure in the present case, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. So far as the other issues are concerned, the same relate to question of facts to be deliberated at the stage of trial. Memo of Evidence submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. The application for bail, being CRM (NDPS) 1837 of 2026, is, thus, dismissed. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
