In the facts and circumstances this Court is of the view that no fruitful purpose will be served in keeping the matter pending and direct the respondent to file affidavits. 4. Thus this writ application is disposed of with a direction upon the respondent No.2 to consider and decide the application of the writ petitioner for grant of electricity connection in accordance with law upon giving the writ petitioner and his learned advocate an opportunity of being heard. Such consideration and decision shall be made at an early date preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order. 2 5.
