This MCC has been filed for restoration of WPCR No.512/2024, which was dismissed for want of prosecution vide order dated 06.07.2026. 3. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that when the case was listed for hearing on 06.07.2026, the wife of the petitioner’s counsel was ill and was taken to Raipur for treatment at a higher medical institution. As the counsel had to look after her, he could not appear before the Court on the date of hearing. He further submits that his 3 absence was bona fide. Therefore, he prays that the present MCC may be allowed and WPCR No.512/2024 be restored to its original number. 4. Learned State counsel has no objection to the prayer made by learned counsel for the applicant. 5. On due consideration and for the reasons mentioned in the memo of MCC, which is well supported by an affidavit, the present MCC is allowed and the order dated 06.07.2026 is recalled. The Registry is directed to restore WPCR No.512/2024 (Sant Kumar Singh vs. State of Chhattisgarh and Others) to its original number and list the case according to the roster. 6.
