The review petitioners have filed the present petition seeking review of the order dated 10.04.2026 passed in W.P.No.10676/2026 (EDN-RES) in as much as it imposes costs of `1,00,000/-. 2. The learned counsel for the review petitioners submits that the learned Single Judge of this Court in W.P.No.11717/2026 had clarified that the notification for conducting the examination for the academic year 2025-26 would prevail and any modification was contrary to and violative of the Article 14 of the Constitution of India. She therefore submits that the costs should not be imposed on a public interest litigation which was filed for a similar relief. 3. We note that the costs were imposed for two reasons. First, that the prayer for quashing the newspaper report was misconceived. Second, it was contended before this Court that a statement was made to the effect that the Hindi language should - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010355682026 NC: 2026:KHC:46614-DB RP No. 280 of 2026 be done away, as reported in the newspaper. However, a plain reading of the newspaper report indicates that no one had made such a statement. 4. This Court had also concluded that the public interest litigation was not filed for seeking any substantial relief, but was filed for seeking publicity and such petitions should be discouraged. 5.
