Heard both the sides. This bail application has been filed on behalf of Raja Sao @ Sonu @ Raja Saw who is in custody since 27.08.2025 in connection with Hazaribag Mufassil P.S. Case No. 144 of 2025 for the offence registered under Sections 331(4), 303(2) of the BNS, 2023 and the cognizance has taken under Sections 303(2), 317(2) and 3(5) of BNS, 2023 pending in the Court of learned C.J.M., Hazaribag is pressed into motion. It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that he is not named in the FIR and only material against him is the recovery of mobile phone. However, the mobile phone is not a stolen article and similarly situated co- accused person has already been granted bail by Co-ordinate Bench of this Court. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that petitioner has been identified from the CCTV footage in stealing article. Under the circumstances, the above-named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty-Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
