Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on the last date of hearing, this Court had directed learned State counsel to file an affidavit of the Secretary, Government of Chhattisgarh, Public Health Engineering Department, explaining as to why the final order on the report of exoneration had not been passed till date. 3. Today, learned State counsel, referring to the affidavit filed on behalf of the respondents, submits that the competent authority has taken a final decision on the report of exoneration on JYOTI SHARMA Digitally signed by JYOTI SHARMA Date: 2026.09.26 10:53:01 +0530 2 / 2 17.09.2026 and has closed the departmental enquiry. He further submits that, since the departmental enquiry has already been closed, the retiral dues of the petitioner shall be disbursed within a period of 30 days, subject to the petitioner fulfilling the requisite formalities for payment of such retiral dues. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record. 5. In view of the submission made by learned State counsel and on perusal of the affidavit filed on behalf of the respondents/ State, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to ensure disbursement of the retiral dues of the petitioner within a period of 30 days from the date of completion of all requisite formalities by the petitioner. 6.
