Mr. Debjit Kundu Ms. Rajyashree Ghosh … For the petitioner. Mr. Dipankar Sen Mr. Bibek Tarafder … For the State. 1. Affidavit of service filed in Court is taken on record. 2. The petitioner seeks enforcement of the order dated 22nd December, 2025, passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court, whereby the Sub-Divisional Officer, Sadar, Jalpaiguri, was directed to grant opportunity of hearing to the petitioner on an enquiry report of the Special Branch, Siliguri Commissionerate, for arriving at a fresh decision in the matter. 3. It would be relevant to note that the previous writ petition, being WPA 2420 of 2025 was filed by the petitioner, inter alia, challenging the order of cancellation of a domicile certificate vide order dated 9th April, 2025 issued by the Sub-Divisional Officer, Sadar, Jalpaiguri. 4. Mr. Kundu, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner would submit that though in terms of the order dated 22nd December, 2025 passed by a Coordinate 2 WPA 1580 of 2026 Bench of this Court in WPA 2420 of 2025, a hearing was held by the office of the Sub-Divisional Officer, Sadar, Jalpaiguri on 12th February, 2026, the outcome of such hearing is yet to be notified to the petitioner. 5. Although an affidavit of service has been filed since, the petitioner did not complete service on respondent nos. 4, 5 and 6 and since Mr. Ajoy Kumar Singhania, learned advocate, who usually appears on behalf of Union of India is present in Court, he is directed to appear in the matter on behalf of the respondent nos. 4, 5 and 6. Let his appointment be regularized. 6. Mr. Sen, learned advocate appears on behalf of the State and would submit that in terms of the order passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court on 22nd December, 2025, not only hearing was held but a reasoned order has also been passed. Copy of the reasoned order dated 11th August, 2026, as placed before this Court is taken on record. Let a copy thereof be made over to the learned advocate for the petitioner. 7. In the light of the above, in my view, nothing survives in the writ petition and the same is accordingly disposed of.
