IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH 130 CR-3253-2026 Date of Decision: 02.09.2026 Vishal Wig ...Petitioner Versus Ritu Wig and others ...Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VIKAS SURI Present:- None for the petitioner. Mt. Salil Dev Singh Bali, Advocate with Mr. Sandeep Dhanda, Advocate, for the respondents. ***** VIKAS SURI, J. (Oral) 1. The matter has been called twice. No one appears on behalf of the petitioner. 2. The following order was passed on 15.07.2026:- “Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner prays for an adjournment on the ground that the arguing counsel is not available. A perusal of the order sheets would show that on the last two occasions as well, the matter had been adjourned at the behest of learned counsel for the petitioner. Last opportunity is granted to the petitioner to address arguments, failing which, the present petition shall be disposed of for want of prosecution. List on 30.07.2026. It is, however, made clear that the pendency of the present petition will not be cited as a ground to derail the trial. To be shown in the urgent cause list.” HARISH KUMAR 2026.09.03 10:16 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment CR-3253-2026 (2) 3. Thereafter, on the subsequent hearing, no one had put in appearance on behalf of the parties, as lawyers were abstaining from appearing in Court owing to a resolution passed by the Bar Association for suspension of work. On resumed hearing today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 4. In view of the above, it would be safe for this Court to infer that the petitioner is not serious to pursue the present revision petition. 5. Dismissed for want of prosecution.
