NO 14722 OF 2026 Salauddin Mistri & Anr. -vs- The State of West Bengal & Ors. Mr. Suryaneel Das, Ms. Suchitra Sinha Chatterjee, Mr. Chiranjit Pal ….for the State. 1. At the time of call no one appears on behalf of petitioners and no accommodation is prayed for. 2. However, Mr. Das, learned Additional Government Pleader representing State respondents has filed a copy of report dated 6th August, 2026 of Officer-in- Charge, Jibantala Police Station and same is taken on record. 3. It is disclosed in report dated 6th August, 2026 that pursuant to order passed by this Court on 10th July, 2026 petitioners were taken to their residence and necessary assistance was provided which permitted petitioners to stay at their residence. According to police authorities at present petitioners are residing at their residence peacefully. 4. In view of steps taken by concerned police authorities, no further order need be passed on this writ petition. 5. Writ petition stands disposed of. 6.
