Accused No.1 in Crime No.62 of 2025 registered by Channapatna East Police Station, Bengaluru South for the offences punishable under Section 189(2), 191(2), 115(2), 118(1), 109, 126(2), 352, 351(2), 190 of BNS, 2023, is before this Court in this petition filed under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 seeking anticipatory bail.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties.
3. FIR in Crime No.62 of 2025 was registered by Channapatna East Police Station, Bengaluru South for the aforesaid offences against the petitioner and others, based

HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010508142026 NC: 2026:KHC:46182 CRL.P No. 11122 of 2026 on the first information dated 14.09.2025 received from Mubharak, who is the injured victim in the present case. Apprehending arrest in the said case, the petitioner had filed Crl.Misc.No.351 of 2026 before the jurisdictional Sessions Court, which was rejected on 08.06.2026. Therefore, he is before this Court.

Perusal of the material on record would go to show that in the alleged incident that had taken place on 14.09.2025 at about 11.45 p.m., accused persons had allegedly assaulted the injured victim and caused injuries. The incident in question had taken place after the parties had fought with each other over a petty issue. The injured victim has suffered only simple injuries as a result of assault made by the accused persons.
5. It is not in dispute that the petitioner, who is arraigned as accused No.1 in the present case, has no other criminal antecedents. The accused persons had assaulted the victim with their hands and with a piece of

6. Considering the aforesaid aspects of the matter, I am of the opinion that the prayer made by the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail needs to be answered affirmatively subject to appropriate conditions. Accordingly, the following :
O R D E R The criminal petition is allowed. The respondent - Police or any other police in the State of Karnataka are
directed to release the petitioner in the event of his arrest in Crime No.62 of 2025 registered by Channapatna East Police Station, Bengaluru South for the offences punishable under Section 189(2), 191(2), 115(2), 118(1), 109, 126(2), 352, 351(2), 190 of BNS, 2023, subject to the following conditions:

HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010508142026 NC: 2026:KHC:46182 CRL.P No. 11122 of 2026 a) Petitioner shall appear before the Investigating Officer within 15 days from the date of receipt of the copy of this order and shall execute a personal bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- with two sureties for the likesum to the satisfaction of the investigating officer. b) Petitioner shall regularly appear before the Trial Court without fail unless exempted by the Trial Court for valid reasons. c) Petitioner shall not tamper with the prosecution witness and he shall co-operate with the police for investigation and appear before them whenever called upon. d) Petitioner shall not involve in similar offences in future.
