Issue a Writ of Certiorari and quash the impugned endorsement dated 18.04.2026 issued by the Respondent No.2 bearing Pathra Sankye: KEKAABEN/J3/352/2026 produced vide "ANNEXURE-E" to the Writ Petition; ii. Issue a Writ or Order or Direction in the nature of Mandamus to the Respondents to consider the representation of the Petitioner in strict compliance of the Government Order No.HD 138 PRA 2013, Bangalore dated- 07.01.2014 produced at ANNEXURE-B and direct the respondents to pass an order of premature release of the petitioner. - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010438262026 NC: 2026:KHC:44891 WP No. 19878 of 2026 iii. Issue a Writ/order/direction to the Respondents to release the petitioner on general parole, in accordance with law, till the Respondents take decision on the representation of the Petitioner for premature release. iv. Issue any other writ or order or direction that deems fit to grant in the circumstances of the case in the interest of justice. 2. The detenu was granted parole vide order dated 06.07.2026. The present petition has been filed seeking extension of the period of parole. It would be open to the petitioner to submit a necessary application before the concerned authorities seeking extension of parole. 3. Now that the petitioner has surrendered, if such an application is filed, the respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.
