CRM-M-41986-2026 1 IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH 229 CRM-M-41986-2026 Decided on : 27.08.2026 Naveen @ Kala Pega ......Petitioner Versus State of Haryana ......Respondent CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SANJAY VASHISTH Present: Mr. R. S. Dhull, Advocate for the petitioner. Mr. P.K. Garg, DAG, Haryana. **** SANJAY VASHISTH, J.
1. Present petition has been filed under Section 483 of BNSS, seeking regular bail in case FIR No. 153 dated 19.03.2020, under Sections 307, 34, 120-B IPC (Sections 109, 3(5), 61(2) of BNS) and Section 25 of Arms Act, registered at Police Station Shahbad, District Kurukshetra.
2. It is not disputed that petitioner, namely Naveen @ Kala Pega, was earlier granted the concession of bail by the learned trial Court vide order dated 21.01.2023 (P-3). However, petitioner failed to abide by the conditions of bail and misused the said concession. He initially absented himself from the proceedings on 28.01.2024 and thereafter remained absent for more than one year. He was ultimately arrested by the police on 17.04.2026. acer 2026.08.31 10:02 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

3. The aforesaid conduct of the petitioner, particularly his prolonged absence from the proceedings despite being on bail, has occasioned delay in the conclusion of the trial. This Court is, therefore, not inclined to extend the concession of regular bail to the petitioner at this stage. Consequently, present petition is dismissed.
