Pagraph No.3 of the petition is extracted as follows: “3. It is submitted that the final report was filed on 18.03.2024 and the same was taken on file in S.T.C.No.1596 of 2024. Subsequently, the said case was transferred and assigned as Spl.C.C.No. 31/2024 on 26.12.2024. Again, the case bundle was transferred to Learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.1, Kovilpatti on 24.03.2025 and assigned S.T.C.No.2174/2025. Thereafter the case was given new No.S.T.C.No.755/2025 on 15.04.2025. Again the case was made over to Special Judicial Magistrate No.1 Court, Kovilpatti on 10.06.2025 and assigned new number as Spl.C.C.No.03 of 2025. After completion of Special Magistrate training this case again transfer to learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.1, Kovilpatti and assigned STC.No.1517 of 2025 on 28.08.2025. Thereafter, this case again made over to special Learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.1, Kovilpatti in Spl.C.C.No.9/2025 dated 01.11.2025 and now, finally this case is pending on the file of Learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.1, Kovilpatti in S.T.C.No.98 of 2026.” 2/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Crl.O.P.(MD).No.11236 of 2026 3. The grievance of the petitioner is that atleast on eight occasions, the case has been transferred from one Court to another Court in the last two years and his job opportunity has been affected, due to pendency of the criminal case. Hence, he seeks expeditious disposal of the criminal case. 4. Considering the fact that the case is pending from the year 2024 onwards without any progress and shuttled between several Courts, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Kovilpatti, to complete the trial in S.T.C.No.98 of 2026 on or before 31.10.2026 and report before this Court. 5.
