And In the matter of : Esfak Sk ……Petitioner. Mr. Sourav Mondal Mr. Arijit Bhuiya Mr. Rony Mondal Mr. D. Sil ……for the Petitioner. Mr. Kallol Mondal, Ld. PP Mr. Aditya Tiwari Ms. Namrata Chatterjee ……for the State. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner was arrested on 11.05.2025 and since then he is in custody. It has been submitted that the Chemical Examiner’s Report is not quantified. Having considered that the total recovery in the present case is 1391 Gms. of Brown Sugar, State has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that in respect of another accused in CRM (NDPS) 959 of 2026 it has been specifically observed in the order dated 24.07.2026, five months from the 2 date of communication of the said order, charges be framed and independent witnesses be examined. The aforesaid order covers the present petitioner also. As such prayer for bail of the petitioner, at this stage, in CRM (NDPS) 1794 of 2026 is rejected. Petitioner would approach this Court after the aforesaid time period is over. Memo of Evidence submitted be kept with the record. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
