In this Writ Petition, petitioner is assailing the notice bearing E Comp No.1270461 dated 22.06.2026 at Annexure-A issued by respondent No.4. - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010601212026 NC: 2026:KHC:46441 WP No. 26908 of 2026 2. Sri. Girisha H.M., learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, by referring to the schedule mentioned in the Writ Petition and the registered sale deed dated 30.06.2007 (Annexure-B) contended that the petitioner herein is in possession of the land bearing Sy.No.154 to an extent of 4 acres 25 guntas situated at Hunasanalu Village, Kasaba Hobli, Nanjangud Taluk, however, respondent No.4 has issued the impugned notice in respect of the land bearing Sy.No.199 of Heerikati Village, Beguru Hobli, which is in no way connected with the petitioner and accordingly, sought for interference of this Court. 3. Per contra, Sri. Spoorthy Hegde N., learned High Court Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, sought to defend the impugned notice. 4. In the light of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties and on careful consideration of the registered sale deed dated 30.06.2007 at Annexure-B would indicate that the petitioner has purchased the land bearing Sy.No.154 of Hunasanalu Village, Kasaba Hobli, Nanjangud Taluk, Mysuru District. However, the subject land in - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010601212026 NC: 2026:KHC:46441 WP No. 26908 of 2026 respect of which the notice has been issued to the petitioner herein is land in Sy.No.199 of Heerikati Village, Beguru Hobli of Gundlupet Taluk. In that view of the matter, there is clear non application of mind by respondent No.4 in issuing the impugned notice. 5.
