JUSTICE S.R.KRISHNA KUMAR ORAL ORDER In this petition, the petitioner seeks the following reliefs: “a) To Call for records of the all the documents from the date of death of his wife Dr.Mrs.V.Ambujakshi who died on 10.10.2008. b) To fix the Family pension according to the rules which is guaranteed even by the Government of Karnataka. c) For the grant of monthly family pension and also the arrears that have accrued and unpaid in spite of the petitioners efforts over the period of 18 years. d) For the grant of such other appropriate Writ or orders or directions in the circumstances submitted above.” 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondent and perused the material on record. 3. The petitioner is the husband of Dr.V. Ambujakshi, who expired on 10.10.2008 and the family pension payable by the petitioner, who is aged more than 100 years and suffering from various ailments and hospitalization, having not been paid/considered by the respondent, the petitioner is before this Court by way of the present petition. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:20691 WP No. 6383 of 2026 4. Per contra, learned counsel for the respondent submits that if reasonable time is granted, the entire monetary benefits payable to the petitioner would be paid in accordance with law. 5. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, I deem it just and appropriate to dispose of this petition by directing the respondent to settle/pay the entire monetary benefits including arrears payable, if any, to the petitioner in relation to the demise of his wife Dr. V. Ambujakshi, who expired on 10.10.2008, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
