Present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India r/w Sections 3/5 of the Haryana Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) Act 2022, for issuance of directions to respondents No.2 to 4 to decided the application dated 04.08.2026 (P-1) for extending the regular parole for further 10 weeks considering the medical incapacity of the petitioner. 2. Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is admitted in hospital and he has to surrender from parole on 09.08.2026. 3. Counsel for the State on instructions, submits that as per the latest medical updates, the petitioner is stable and is likely to be discharged from the hospital either today (07.08.2026) or tomorrow (08.08.2026). 4. Accordingly, it is ordered that the operation of the original parole order shall stand extended and continue until two days after the date of his actual discharge from the hospital. The petitioner shall surrender before the jail authorities upon the expiry of the two-days extended period.
