Petitioner completed age of superannuation while serving as Lecturer in Government Inter College in District Dehradun on 30.09.2025, however, he was permitted to continue in service till end of academic session i.e. 31.03.2026. 4. According to the petitioner, even though his pension papers were completed before petitioner’s superannuation, however, the pension papers could not be forwarded to the competent authority for getting necessary sanction, as petitioner’s wife is not coming forward to put her signatures on the pension papers. It is contended that relation between petitioner and his wife (respondent no. 6) are strained, which is the reason for respondent no. 6 not coming for putting her signatures, thumb impression and joint photographs in the pension papers of petitioner. 5. Learned State Counsel submits that the authorities of Education Department have no control over the respondent no. 6, who is nominee of the petitioner. 6. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that respondent no. 6 is also serving as teacher, therefore, the competent authority can ask her to appear before him for 2026:UHC:3090 completing the documentation. 7. This Court cannot issue any direction to respondent no. 6, however, having regard to the facts of the case, the writ petition is disposed of by permitting petitioner to make representation to respondent no. 5 seeking his intervention in the matter. If petitioner makes such representation within two weeks from today, the respondent no. 5 shall pass necessary order, as per law on the representation, within six weeks thereafter.
