Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of petitioners is taken on record. 2. On behalf of petitioners dissatisfaction is expressed relating to steps taken by concerned police authorities on receipt of complaint dated 30th December, 2025. It is also submitted that in connection with Usthi Police Station Case No.237 dated 22nd May, 2025 petitioners are accused and they were taken into custody. Subsequently, petitioners were enlarged on bail. 3. Learned advocate representing State respondents has filed a communication dated 17th August, 2026 of Officer-in-Charge, Usthi Police Station and same is taken on record. Copy of communication dated 17th August, 2026 is made over to learned advocate representing petitioners. 4. It is disclosed in communication dated 17th August, 2026 that on receipt of complaint from petitioners preliminary enquiry was made but no FIR was registered. On completion of investigation in connection with aforesaid criminal prosecution, a charge-sheet being No.441 dated 23rd September, 2025 was filed before the jurisdictional Magistrate. 5. It appears from submission made on behalf of petitioners and contents of communication dated 17th August, 2026 filed on behalf of State respondents that complaint was made by petitioners as counterblast to initiation of criminal prosecution being Usthi Police Station Case No.237 dated 22nd May, 2025, in connection therewith petitioners were taken into custody and subsequently were released on bail. 6. As it is submitted on behalf of State respondents that charge-sheet dated 23rd September, 2025 was filed against petitioners, this Court is not inclined to pass order taking note of case made out in this writ petition. Petitioners may have lodged complaint but this Court cannot brush aside fact that petitioners are accused in aforesaid criminal prosecution. 7. Hence, writ petition stands dismissed. 8.
