It has been submitted that the total quantum of seizure in the present case is 480 bottles of Broncof-C Cough Syrup. Petitioner was shown arrested on 02.06.2026 and since then he is in custody. Charge-sheet has already been submitted, as such, learned advocate prays for bail.
State has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that it is not only the statement of co-accused but there are call data records reflecting that from there was communication between the present petitioner and Goutam Halder another accused from whose custody recovery was made.

Having considered that there is prima facie a chain of circumstance established against the present petitioner, at this stage, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.
Accordingly, CRM(NDPS)1771 of 2026 is dismissed. Memo of Evidence submitted by the State be kept with the record.
