The petitioner claims pension on higher salary in accordance with the Employees’ Pension Scheme, 1995 (EPS) as amended. The amount of money that was required to be transmitted by the CSTC was communicated to it by the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation vide demand letter dated November 19, 2025. Till January 31, 2025, the amount due to be deposited along with the interest was calculated as Rs.7,61,313/-. The petitioner alleges that 90% if gus CPF dues have been still lying unpaid at his credit in his CPF account but the CSTC has not transmitted the due amount of contribution to the EPFO in spite of the above demand letter. 2 3. The petitioner submits that he is not aware of the updated amount required to be transmitted by the CSTC to the EPFO. 4. Accordingly, the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation is directed to make the necessary calculation of the amount required to be transmitted by the CSTC so that the petitioner can receive higher pension under EPS. 5. I direct the Regional Provident Fund Commissioner, Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation, Barrackpore, the respondent no. 7 herein, to make the necessary updated calculation of the amount due till end of September 2026 and inform the CSTC, which shall transmit the same from the petitioner’s account to the EPFO within 30th November 2026 to enable the petitioner to get higher pension under EPS. 6. Such calculation shall be intimated to the CSTC and the petitioner at the earliest but positively within 30th September, 2026. The CSTC shall make payment of the balance amount of CPF to the petitioner with 6% interest thereon per annum from the next date of retirement till the date of actual payment to be made. 7. On transfer of the amount of such calculation, the authority shall take steps for disbursing higher pension to the petitioner in accordance with EPS from the month of October, 2026. 3 8. With the afore-stated directions, WPA 20159 of 2026 is disposed of. 9. There shall be no order as to costs. 10.
