For Petitioner: Mr.M.Vetrivel For Respondent: Ms.R.S.Indira Government Advocate (Crl.Side) ORDER The petitioner apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 306 of B.N.S.Act in Crime No.215 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was employed as a housekeeper and cook in the residence of the defacto complainant. Hence the case. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in the case. It is further submitted that there is absolutely no material connecting the petitioner with the alleged theft and that the complaint has been lodged with an ulterior motive. Therefore, he prayed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent opposed the anticipatory bail application and submitted that this is a case of theft committed by a servant. It is further submitted that gold chain weighing about 11.2 grams was stolen by the petitioner and the stolen property is yet to be recovered. 5. I have given anxious consideration to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side. 6. This Court is of the view that the allegation against the petitioner is one of theft committed by a servant and the stolen property is yet to be recovered.
