The State of West Bengal Mr. Pronojit Roy ..for the petitioner Mr. Subir Ganguly Mr. Sandeep Prasad Shaw ..for the State Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner prays for expeditious disposal of the proceeding being BGR No. 4259 of 2022, arising out of Bishnupur Police Station Case No. 692 of 2022, dated September 26, 2022, under Sections 420/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Alipore, South 24 Parganas. It appears that the learned Magistrate has already fixed September 14, 2026, for consideration of charge. In view of the aforesaid, I direct the learned Magistrate before whom the proceeding is pending to conclude the hearing on charge on the next date of hearing. If, for any reason, the hearing on charge cannot be concluded on the next date of hearing, the learned Magistrate shall make every endeavour to conclude the same within a period of three months thereafter. Accordingly, C.R.R. 3284 of 2026 is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
