The petitioners are before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: a. Writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order directing the respondent No.1 to consider the representation dated 28.8.2025 and to give approval to the Managing Committee list of Barlane Masjid submitted to the respondent No.1 in the month of May 2025; b. Costs and such other relief as this Hon’ble Court deem fit in the facts and circumstance of the case. 2. The grievance of the petitioners is that the representation submitted by the petitioners dated 28.08.2025 was not considered by the respondents - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010817202025 NC: 2026:KHC:44882 WP No. 39395 of 2025 and the Managing Committee has not approved the same. 3. The learned counsel for respondent no.1 on instructions submitted that the said representation could not be considered due to the report of the District Wakf Officer not being forwarded. 4. In that background that the District Waqf Officer was directed to be personally present before this Court more so when the same counsel was appearing for both respondent no.1 and 2 and as regards the internal matter the petitioner was being made to run from pillar to post. 5. Sri.Amjad Moin, District Waqf Officer who is present before this Court submits that given a week's time the report would be submitted to respondent no.1. Hence, he is directed to submit the report on or before 27.08.2026.
