Ms.Inthu Karunakaran, learned Government's counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4. 3. By consent of the parties, the main petition is taken up for disposal in the stage of admission itself. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner filed a representation dated 26.02.2026 before the 2nd respondent (DRO), for cancellation of patta issued in the name of 5th respondent. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the official respondents till date. Hence, this petition. 5. In reply, the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the petitioner’s representation, for cancellation of patta, is supposed to have been filed before the 3rd respondent instead of 2nd respondent. hence, she requests this Court to pass appropriate orders. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

6. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record. 7. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the petitioner to file a fresh representation along with all the relevant documents before the 3rd respondent (RDO).
Upon receipt of the said representation, the 3rd respondent shall consider the same and after issuing notice to all the concerned parties, dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks therefrom. 10.
