The petitioners in the said writ petition are seeking for the following reliefs :- “10.1 This Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue appropriate writ and direct the respondent authorities to decide the petitioners representation with a direction to the respondents to conduct the demarcation of the petitioner land in accordance with law within such time limit as the Hon'ble Court may deem fit in light of facts and circumstances of the case. 10.2 This Hon'ble Court Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ, order or direction of 4 mandamus directing the respondent authorities to pay just and reasonable compensation to the Petitioners for acquisition of petitioners land along with interest or in alternative be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to remove the illegal encroachments over the disputed land of the petitioner or grant alternative equivalent land to the petitioners within such time frame as Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the facts and circumstance of the case. 10.3 This Hon'ble Court may also be pleased to grant the cost of the petition to the petitioners. 10.4 Any other relief which this Hon'ble Court deem fit and proper may also kindly be granted to the petitioners in the interest of justice.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners, after arguing the matter for some time, submits that the ends of justice would be met if the respondent authorities are directed to consider and decide the pending representation dated 22.11.2023 (Annexure P-3) expeditiously. 3. Learned counsel for the State submits that, upon perusal of the representation dated 22.11.2023 (Annexure P-3), it does not transpire or establish that the same has been formally received by the competent authorities. 4. Having heard learned counsel for the parties, the petitioners are directed to submit a fresh representation before the concerned authorities within a period of 15 days. Upon receipt of the same, the concerned authorities shall consider and decide the 5 representation expeditiously, preferably within 60 days from the date of receiving a copy of this order. 5.
