they are being dealt together. For the sake of convenience, the facts are being taken from CWP-23596-2026.
1.
Learned counsel for the petitioners-Chandigarh Administration argues that despite a clear direction given by this Court vide order dated 17.02.2026 passed in CWP No.4730 of 2026 and other connected cases, to the Tribunal to decide the issue within a period of three months from the next date of hearing, the same has been ignored and the case has been adjourned even beyond three months. Learned counsel further submits that the case was not even taken up for consideration on the date concerned which is causing prejudice to the Chandigarh Administration.
2.
The prayer of the petitioners is that let the Tribunal decide the issue finally on the next date of hearing, so that the prejudice suffered by the Chandigarh Administration keeping in view the interim order granted, comes to an end.
3.
Though, keeping in view the order passed by this Court, the matter should have been decided within the time frame granted, but keeping in view the workload, in case the Original Applications (OAs) have been adjourned now to 28.09.2026, let the said issue be decided even if, the OAs to be heard out of turn by giving preference to the hearing upon other cases, keeping in view the fact that there is an interim order which is being suffered by the Chandigarh Administration. In case, it is not possible to decide the issue on the date fixed i.e. 28.09.2026, the hearing will be completed within a period of four SANJEEV KUMAR 2026.08.17 12:00 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
