Learned AGA accepts notice for the respondent Nos. 1 and 2. 2. In this writ petition, the petitioner has sought writ of mandamus directing respondent No.2 to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records pertaining to the land in question, as per the registered Sale Deed dated 13.07.2026 (Annexure - A) and the J-slip/ Form, produced at Annexure-D to the writ petition. 3. Sri. D.R. Ravishankar, learned Senior counsel appearing for Sri.
Prashanth L Kanal, learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that it is obligated/incumbent upon respondent No.2 to enter

the name of the petitioner in the revenue records upon receipt of the J-slip issued by the office of respondent No.2 and to effect the khata in favour of the petitioner. In this regard, the petitioner referred to the judgment of this Court in WP No.847/2025 dated 17.01.2025, particularly paragraph No.4 and contended that it is the duty of respondent No.2 to enter the name of the petitioner in revenue records accordance with law. 4. In that view of the matter, I find force in the submission made by the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner. Accordingly, a writ of mandamus is issued to respondent No. 2 to enter the name of the petitioner in respect of the subject land in accordance with the registered Sale Deed dated 13.07.2026 (Annexure-A) and the J-Slip issued by the Sub-Registrar, Yelahanka (Annexure-D), within a
