Affidavit of service filed by the petitioner is taken on record. The State and the Panchayat Samiti are not represented despite service. Ms. Tapasi Palit Sinha, advocate, who usually appears for the State and is present in Court today, is requested to appear for the State in this matter. Her appointment be regularised by the concerned authority. The petitioner is directed to serve copy of the writ petition along with annexure thereto upon Ms. Palit Sinha, advocate in course of this day. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to a notification issued by the Government of West Bengal on 5th August, 2022 for engagement of Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHA) the petitioner applied for the post and was called for an interview by issuance of admit card on 21st March, 2023. Though the petitioner appeared for the interview, the result is yet to be declared. The petitioner seeks a direction upon the concerned authority to publish the result of the interview and appoint the petitioner to the post of ASHA in disposing 2 of the representation submitted by her before the authority on 16th April, 2026. In view of the fact that the result of the interview has not been intimated to the petitioner till date, the Principal Secretary, Sub Divisional Level Selection Committee for recruitment of ASHA and Sub Divisional Officer, Manbazar, being the 4th respondent herein, is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on 16th April, 2026 and take necessary steps for publication of the result in respect of the notification dated 5th August, 2022 within two weeks from the date of communication of this order. In the event the said authority arrives at a decision in favour of the petitioner, necessary consequential steps be taken at the earliest. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to have been admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities. (Suvra Ghosh, J.)
