Vashistha, A.P.P. 02/ 27.01.2026: Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State. 2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Kuchai P.S. Case No. 49 of 2025, registered under sections 336, 338, 340, 341 of BNS, 2023, under section 47(a) of Excise Act and under section 63 of Copyright Act, pending in the Court of learned A.C.J.M, Seraikella. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that from the forest area foreign liquor and spirit has been recovered and one scorpio has also been seized. He further submits that petitioner has nothing to do with the said foreign liquor and spirit as well as Scorpio. He further submits that the person who has taken the name of the petitioner, the name of that person has not been disclosed in the F.I.R. On these grounds, he submits that the petitioner may kindly be provided privilege of anticipatory bail. 4. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer and submits that the name of the petitioner has come in the secret information. 5. Considering that the person who has taken the name of the petitioner, the name of that person has not been disclosed in the F.I.R and even Scorpio is not of the petitioner as submitted by the learned court for the petitioner and even liquor and spirit have been seized from the forest area, I ( 2026:JHHC:1892 ) am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the above named, petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned court within three weeks from today and in the event of his surrender / arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 25,000/- (twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M, Seraikella, in connection with Kuchai P.S.
