Being dissatisfied with the investigation done by the investigating agency, petitioner has preferred a protest petition (“Naraji” petition) before the Court below on 8th April, 2026 in connection with Jagatballavpur Police Station case no.18 of 2026 dated 08.04.2026 corresponding to G.R. Case no.434 of 2026 presently pending before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate at Howrah. 2. It is alleged by the petitioner that the said protest petition is pending disposal for a couple of months and the Court below has fixed for hearing of the said petition by regular Presiding Officer on 16.09.2026. The petitioner herein has prayed for a specific direction upon the Court below to dispose of the petitioner’s aforesaid protest petition at the earliest. 3. Since the prayer made by the petitioner is innocuous and, if allowed, will not cause any prejudice to the opposite party, Page 2 the service of copy of the instant revisional application upon the opposite party is dispensed with. 4. Having heard the submission made on behalf of the petitioner, the instant application being CRR 3567 of 2026 is hereby disposed of with a direction upon the Court below to dispose of the petitioner’s protest petition (“Naraji” Petition) dated 08.04.2026 on the next date, i.e., on 16.09.2026 or preferably within a period of 30 days thereafter. 5. All parties shall act on the basis of server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 6.
