P.P. --------- 05/19.03.2026 Heard Mr. Lalit Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Spl. P.P. for the State. The petitioner is an accused in connection with Deoghar (Cyber) P.S. Case No. 131/2025. It has been alleged that the petitioner and another accused person were apprehended by the Police with mobile phones. They were suspected to be involved in cybercrime. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that not a single victim has lodged a complaint against the petitioner. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner is in custody since 18.09.2025 and he has one criminal antecedent being Deoghar P.S. Case No. 61/2021. Learned Spl. P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the fact that the petitioner has an antecedent similar in nature, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
