The petitioner, appearing in person, submits that she has already been permitted to take admission in the Calcutta National Medical College and Hospital, and that she is attending her classes in M.D. (Pediatrics) course. 2. Vide order dated July 28, 2026, the Court directed the Director of Medical Education to verify the claim of the petitioner as regards disbursement of the stipend which she claims as due and payable to her for the services she rendered in NRS Medical College & Hospital for the last six months. The petitioner submits that all documents, upon verification, have been forwarded by NRS Medical College & Hospital to the Director of Medical Education; but no steps have been taken by the Director till date. 3. The petitioner submits that she is suffering from acute financial crunch and that she requires her due stipend. 4. After hearing the parties, the Director of Medical Education is directed to take prompt necessary steps with regard to the prayer of the petitioner for disbursement of her stipend in accordance with the law at the earliest but positively within a period of two weeks from the date of communication of this order. 5. If the prayer of the petitioner is found to be proper, then steps shall be taken for disbursement of her due stipend without any further delay. 6. The writ petition stands disposed of. 7. All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 8.
