The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Koderma P.S. Case No.85 of 2022, registered for offence under Sections 147, 149, 341, 323, 332, 337, 353 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Koderma. 3. Learned counsel appearing for petitioners submits that the petitioners are not named in the FIR and the allegations are made that 10-15 persons came out of the mosque and started pelting stones on the occasion of the Ramnavami procession. He further submits that the said procession was being escorted by the police personnel. He also submits that the petitioners have got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph 13 of this application. He then submits that six of co-accused persons have been granted anticipatory bail in ABA Nos.4807 of 2022, 4142 of 2023 and 6983 of 2025. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposed the prayer and submits that allegations are there of pelting stones on the religious procession. ( 2026:JHHC:1908 ) -2- A.B.A. No. 356 of 2026 5. Considering that there are general and omnibus allegations of pelting stones against all the accused persons and six of the co-accused persons have been granted anticipatory bail in the aforesaid A.B.As. and the petitioners have got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph 13 of this application and in the attending facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to petitioners. 6. Accordingly, the petitioners, above named, are hereby directed to surrender before learned Court within three weeks from today, and in event of their surrender/arrest, they shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) each, with two sureties of like amount each, to satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Koderma, in connection with Koderma P.S.
