Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in connection with the instant case and is in custody for more than 885 days. The records of the case reflect that there has been recovery of 450 grams of heroin and 2.65 kgs. of Power. Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail. Having considered the quantum of seizure of contraband, I am of the view that the provision of Section 37 of the NDPS Act is attracted. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. It has been submitted that evidence of one witness has already been completed and five more witnesses are left for the prosecution to examine. 2 The prosecution would put in efforts to comply with the directions passed in CRM (NDPS) 837 of 2025. The application for bail, being CRM (NDPS) 1701 of 2025, is, thus, disposed of. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
