Raju C.N., learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, Smt. Waheeda M.M., learned High Court Government Pleader appearing for respondent No.1, Smt. Nayanashree A.K. learned counsel files vakalat and appears for respondent No.2 and have perused the material on record. 2. During the pendency of these proceedings, it transpires that the parties to the lis have entered into a settlement and have placed on record the memorandum of settlement under section 89 of Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 r/w Rules 24 and 25 of the Karnataka Civil Procedure (Mediation) Rules, 2005, along with the I.A.No.1 for compromise. Application for compromise reads as follows: - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010567832026 NC: 2026:KHC:44174 CRL.P No. 12423 of 2026 "I.A.NO.1 FOR COMPROMISE ." The petitioners and Respondent No.2 submit as follows:- 1 The Respondent Mysore women police have fled the charge sheet in crime No.13/2026 for the offence P/u sections 85, 115(2), 352, r/w 3(5) of BNS and section 3, 48 6 of D.P.Act. 2. It is submitted that the dispute settled between the parties under memorandum of settlement under section 89 of CPC before the mediation centre at Mysore on 04/06/2026. And both the Respondent No.2 agreed to withdraw the case. 3. It is submitted that the petitioners and the second respondent have settled their dispute amicably in mediation. respondent have expressed that she has no objection for quashing the charge The defacto complainant the second sheet filed against petitioners in C.C.No.106/2026, dated 04/04/2026 on the file of 7th Additional Senior Civil Judge (Sr.Dn) & JMFC Mysore 4. It is submitted that the parties, namely, the petitioners and the second respondent in the above case appeared before this Hon'ble court and expressed in unequivocal terms that they have signed the Joint Compromise Memo on their own free will and volition today. 5. It is submitted that Respondent No.2/ complainant has no objection to allow the criminal Petition and to quash the above said case against the petitioner. Respondent No.2 without any pressure, force, compulsion agreed for the compromise. Petitioner also agreed for the same. Hence Respondent No.2 & Petitioner have filed this application before this Hon'ble court. and Respondent No.2 have filed the 6. In the light of application for compounding being filed along with the I.A.No.1 Compromise and offences not being against the State, I deem it appropriate to accept the compounding application and terminate the proceedings against the petitioners in the subject petition. 4. For the aforesaid reasons, the following: ORDER (i) Criminal Petition stands disposed. (ii) Proceedings pending in C.C.No.106/2026, on the file of 7th Additional Senior Civil Judge (Sr.Dn) & JMFC Mysore, arising out of Crime No.13/2026 of Women police Mysore, against the petitioners stands quashed.
