The petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with S.T. No.304 of 2024, arising out of Satbarwa P.S. Case No.92 of 2023, registered for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 307, 353 of the IPC, Section 27 of the Arms Act and Section 17 of C.L.A. Act, pending in the Court of the learned A.D.J.-IX, Palamau. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the allegations are there that there was exchange of firing between the police personnel and extremists and being outmaneuvered, the extremists had fled away. He further submits that so far as the petitioner is concerned, he appears to have been implicated on suspicion. He next submits that none of the police personnel have sustained injuries on account of the firing. He also submits that in identical situation, co-accused have been granted regular bail by Coordinate Bench of this Court in B.A. No.3763 of 2024 and B.A. No.6216 of 2024. He further submits that the petitioner is in custody since 17.01.2025. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposed the prayer and submits that the allegations are there that the petitioner was involved in firing ( 2026:JHHC:968 ) -2- B.A. No. 11293 of 2025 upon the police personnel. 5. Considering that the petitioner is in custody since 17.01.2025 and in identical situation, co-accused have been granted regular bail by Coordinate Bench of this Court in the aforesaid B.As. and in the attending facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, the above-named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.D.J.-IX, Palamau in connection with S.T.
