D/L613 19.08.2026 Bpg. C.R.M. (A) 2617 of 2026 In Re: An application for anticipatory bail under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 filed in connection with Chanchal Police Station Case No.383 of 2026 dated 01.05.2026 under Sections 126(2)/115(2)/118(1)/109/74/3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023; Jeker @ Jakir Ali & Anr. Versus The State of West Bengal Mr. Mritunjoy Chatterjee Mr. Imdadul Hoque. …for the petitioners. Mr. Indradip Das Mr. Prantik Sarkar. …for the State. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent and have been foisted with the present criminal case over issue relating to property. It has also been contended that there has been a case which has been registered at the behest of the present petitioners. Learned advocate for the State has produced the case diary. I have taken into account the injury report as well as the statement of the injured. As the injured has implicated both the petitioners in active participation in the commission of the offence, I am of the opinion that this is not a fit case for granting anticipatory 2 bail to the petitioners. As such, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners in CRM(A)2617 of 2026 is dismissed. Memo of Evidence submitted by the State be kept with the record. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
