1. Petitioner complains that, the respondent no.7 abducted the wife of the petitioner on June 19, 2026. Claim of the petitioner is that, the petitioner married the daughter of the respondent no.7 on December 30,
2025.
2. Petitioner, State and private respondent are represented.
3. By an order dated August 24, 2026, we directed the State to treat the complaint of the wife of the petitioner dated July 2, 2026 as First Information Report and facilitate the wife of the petitioner to record her statement under Section 183 of the BNSS.

4. State facilitated such recording. Wife of the petitioner recorded her statement under Section 183 of the BNSS on August 25, 2026. A copy of such statement is a part of the report of the State.
5. Report submitted by the State be taken on record.
6. It appears from such statement of the wife of the petitioner recorded under Section 183 of the BNSS that, she went voluntarily with the petitioner, married him and that, she wants to live her life with the petitioner.
7. In view of such statement of the wife of the petitioner as recorded in the statement of her under Section 183 of the BNSS, we deem it appropriate to direct the State to ensure that, no breach of peace take place on the locale when, the wife of the petitioner decides to join the petitioner.
8. WPA (H) 74 of 2026 is disposed of without any order as to costs. (Debangsu Basak, J.)
