Mr. Amitabha Karmakar Mr. Arup Kumar Bhowmick ……for the State. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submit that petitioners are innocent and they have been falsely implicated in connection with the instant case. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the deceased was present in a vehicle wherein other relations of the wife was present. Information was not furnished that by that time the deceased expired. However, the sister who had set the law into motion sent the body of the deceased to hospital from where it was found that three hours prior to the body arriving at the hospital, the deceased had already expired. Having considered the suppression of material facts and the manner in which the same was discovered, I am of the opinion that this is not a fit case for granting anticipatory bail. 2 As such, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners in CRM (A) 2783 of 2026 is dismissed. Memo of evidence submitted by the State be kept with the record. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
