Heard learned counsel for the parties, learned Standing Counsel for the State and perused the record. 2. The instant writ petition has been filed for the following relief: "यह िक सम्माननीय न्यायालय परमादेश ्ऺकृ ित के यािचकादेश, आदेश/िनदरॏश के माध्यम से यािचनी को आराजी नम्बर 716 न रकबा 1410.5 वगर्फीट िस्थत मौजा कादीपुर, परगना देहात अमानत, तहसील सदर, जनपद वाराणसी से बेदखल िकये जाने से उ्तरवादी संख्या 3 समेत उनके मेली-मददगारान को मना करने तथा यािचनी ्षारा उपिजलािधकारी, सदर, वाराणसी के सम्ष ्ऺस्तुत आवेदनप्ऴ िदनांिकत 20. 03.2026 को तात्कािलकता के आधार पर अिवलम्ब शी्साितशी्स (िनयत/िनधार्िरत अविध) के भीतर िनिणत / िनस्तािरत िकये जाने हेतु उ्तरवादी संख्या 2 को आदेिशत / िनदरॏिशत करने की महती कृ पा करे।" 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the proceedings under Section 67-A of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 is pending since 2020. It is further contended that report of Lekhpal has already been submitted in the year 2022 but the same has not been finalized. He prayed that the same may be decided, expeditiously. 4. No useful purpose would be served in keeping this petition pending. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the present petition stands disposed of finally with a direction to respondent No. 2 to consider and decide the aforementioned proceedings, in accordance with law, expeditiously, Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Hari Mohan, Monika Vaish, Vikrant Neeraj Counsel for Respondent(s) : Bhupendra Kumar Tripathi, C.S.C.
