Also heard Mr. D. P. Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam. 2. This is an application filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in respect of Geetanagar P.S. Case No.07/2026, under Section 143(3)/144(2)/3(5) of the BNS Act read with Section 3/4/5(1) of Immoral Traffic Prevention Act, 1956, whereby the petitioner Bhaskar Jyoti Hazari has prayed for releasing him on bail. Page No.# 2/2 3. Within Geetanagar area of the city, Police raided a beauty parlour. Police suspected that in the said beauty parlour, the act of prostitution was being run. Several packets of condoms were recovered from the beauty parlor. According to police, the present petitioner was a customer in that beauty parlour. 4. The petitioner has already spent 20 (twenty) days in judicial custody. 5. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for both sides. 6. This Court is of the opinion that under the given circumstances the petitioner no longer deserves to be detained in custody for any further period of time. 7. Accordingly, the bail application is allowed. 8. The petitioner Bhaskar Jyoti Hazari, who was arrested in connection with Geetanagar P.S. Case No.07/2026, shall be released on bail of Rs.25,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magiatrate, Kamrup(Metro) at Guwahati. 9.
