The grievance of the writ petitioner is that his application for electricity connection made before the Assistant Engineer-II (HQ), Electricity Department, Port Blair the respondent No.3 herein is not at all considered. 4. In the facts and circumstances this Court is of the view that no fruitful purpose will be served in keeping the matter pending and directing filing of affidavits. 5. In the facts and circumstance this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction upon the respondent No.3 to consider and decide the application made by the writ petitioner in accordance with law upon giving the writ petitioner an opportunity of being heard. Such consideration be made and decision be taken in an early date and preferably within four weeks from the date of communication of this order. 6.
