AGP Ms. Sucharita Sinha Chatterjee Mr. Chiranjit Pal …..for the State respondents Mr. Amajit De …for the CBI 1) Matter is taken up for consideration in terms of order dated 27th July, 2026 when Mr. Das, learned Additional Government Pleader representing State respondents has filed a communication dated 25th August, 2026 of Inspector-in-Charge of Rajarhat Police Station and same is taken on record. Copy of said communication is made over to learned advocate representing petitioner. 2) It is submitted on behalf of State respondents that advocate who identified seller at the time of executing Deed of Conveyance was arrested and subsequently he was released on bail vide order dated 20th August, 2026 passed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barasat, North 24 Parganas. It is also submitted that pursuant to order passed by court below on 17th December, 2025 further investigation is continuing in 2 Rajarhat Police Station Case No. 247 of 2024 dated 18th July, 2024. 3) Learned advocate representing petitioner expresses dissatisfaction regarding manner of investigation being carried out by the police authorities. 4) Concerned police authority is directed to complete investigation and submit report before the jurisdictional Magistrate at an early date. If petitioner has grievance relating to investigation, petitioner shall be at liberty to approach jurisdictional Magistrate in accordance with law. 5) Writ petition stands disposed of. 6) Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking.
