And In the matter of : Lal Mahammad ……Petitioner. Ms. Minoti Gomes Md. Hafiz Ali ……for the Petitioner. Mr. Sourjo Mukherjee Mr. Ansuman Bera ….for the State. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits petitioner is innocent, a relative of the victim and has been falsely implicated in connection with the instant case. State has produced the case diary. I have taken into account the statement of the victim which specifically accuses the petitioner of abetting in commission of rape. Having regard to the same, I am not inclined to allow the prayer for anticipatory bail. 2 Accordingly, CRM (A) 2746 of 2026 is dismissed. Memo of Evidence submitted be kept with the record. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
