The petitioner is an accused in connection with Mirzachouki P.S. Case No. 52 of 2025. It has been alleged that the petitioner had committed the murder of Srilal Murmu by slitting his throat. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that para 9 of the case diary reveals the restatement of the informant from which it appears that despite having seen the assault committed by the petitioner upon the brother-in-law of the informant, the informant had gone back home and started searching for his brother-in-law in the next morning which appears to be an unusual conduct on the part of the informant. It has been submitted that save and except what has been stated by the informant, there is no other material which would indicate about the participation of the petitioner in committing the murder of Srilal Murmu. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the restatement of the informant which has been recorded at para 9 of the case diary and which does suggest an unnatural conduct on the part of the informant which creates a cause of suspicion over the case of the prosecution, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Sahibganj in connection with Mirzachouki P.S.
