learned counsel for the petitioner.
2. The petitioners who were defendants in Original Suit No.33 of 2025 are praying for the following reliefs:-
“(i) direct the Learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), Kotdwar, District Pauri Garhwal to decide the Civil Suit bearing O.S. No. 33 of 2025 tittled Naeem Ahmed and Anr. vs Haibiurehman and ors pending before it as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 6 months or such period as may deem fit & proper. (ii) Pass any order or direction which this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper.”
3. It is also contended that the plaintiff of the suit is repeatedly seeking an adjournment.
4. The relief as sought in this writ petition appears to be innocuous.
5. In such view of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of finally with a direction to the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), Kotdwar, District Pauri Garhwal to expedite the proceeding of
2026:UHC:2886 Original Suit No.33 of 2025, “Naeem Ahmed and Another vs. Haibiurehman and Others”, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
6. It is further made clear that no unnecessary adjournment shall be granted to either of the parties.
