... Petitioner.
Ms. Arushi Rathore, Mr. Arnab Kumar Neogi, Mr. Aparup Chatterjee, Mr. Sourav Samanta
... For the Petitioner.
Mr. Bhaskar Seth, Mr. Arnab Sau
... For the State.
Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 07.07.2025; charge- sheet has already been submitted. As such, petitioner prays for bail. Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the deceased was killed and buried. The offending weapon was recovered subsequently at the behest of the present petitioner. I have taken into account the materials appearing in the case diary. There are motives which have been attributed which are surfacing from the case diary. Having regard to the gravity of the offence, I am not inclined to release the
2 petitioner on bail at this stage. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. The application for bail, being CRM (M) 1430 of 2026, is, thus, dismissed. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
