By order dated 30th July, 2026, on the submission of the learned Advocate for the petitioner, State- respondents was directed to furnish death report of the petitioner. 3. In compliance thereof, Mr. Asit Kumar De, learned Advocate representing the State-respondents files a copy of the death certificate of the petitioner being no.D/2026/0154862 dated 5th March, 2026, which is taken on record. 4. On perusal of the aforesaid death certificate, it appears that the petitioner Jaydev Garu has expired on 21st January, 2026. 5. Ms. Gopa Biswas, learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that since the petitioner has expired, the writ petition has become infructuous and be dismissed. 2 6. In view of the above, the writ petition being WPA 22404 of 2025 stands dismissed being infructuous. 7. Interim order, if any, stands vacated. 8. All connected applications, if any, stand disposed of. 9. There shall be no order as to costs. 10. All concerned parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 11.
