By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has, inter alia, prayed for the following relief:- “i. That this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to quash and set aside the impugned transfer order dated 01.04.2026 vide Annexure P/1, in the interest of justice and fair play. ii. That this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus, thereby directing the respondent Board to adjust/post the petitioner at Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Limited Division, Bilaspur/Ghumarwin, by sympathetically considering the compelling and adverse family circumstances of the petitioner.” 3. A perusal of the impugned order demonstrates that it is 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 not a transfer order but in fact, after regularization, the petitioner has been posted at Baijnath. 4. In light of the fact that the petitioner after regularization has been posted at Baijnath, he cannot pray for his posting at the said station, as the said station is neither a hard area nor a sub cadre area/tribal area. 5. A perusal of the petition demonstrates that the petitioner is hardly 40 years old and, therefore, also it is not on account of his age factor he cannot serve at a station like Baijnath.
